An absolute design classic and well worth buying. Avoid the buckles
as no one should be seen dead in buckle trainers. Best bet are the
white laces with green trim though if you can get the burgundy trim
you will stay one step ahead of the crowd. Also done in blue, but
not much kop and if you got serious money ie stlg110 can get red and
other colours on import from Japan. Not as nice as white, but you
can be certain not many others will have these. Bit of a low period
for trainers at present, but can still get some decent pairs if you
look around, try shops like Ath Leisure, Office and Schuh. Amongst
others;

Adidas Trim Trab
Puma Super Basket
Puma Roma
Nike Cortez
Nike Bruin
Adidas Super Kegler
Puma California

Past staples such as Adidas Gazelles, Adidas Campus, Puma States
still around, but a bit old hat these days. Only worth wearing if
you can get unusual colours, which if you look hard enough you can
still do.

All of the above look great with trainers/cords and are a very
welcome change from desert boots and are a must for match days.
Anyone who sets foot in bowling shoes(whatever vareity) in the year
2000 needs their head examining!

cheers
Dominic
