My opinions:
Bowling shoes are in general, ugly. I think the exception to this wood be
the new Dexter's DX ant DT line..look on Ebay to see what I mean. They have
a thin rubber sole and come in a wide variety of colors. Personally I think
Puma and older Adidas trainers and indoor soccer shoes are much smarter
lookinng, but that's just me.
Brooks brothers make good shirts..but there are some other good brands. I
own a nice Oleg Cassini buttondown in black, and the little details like a
back loop and single needle tailoring make it a good investment, plus they
are affordable, well sized and easy to find. If you want your shirts custom
fit, Land's End will let you pick both the collar and cuff style on you're
shirts, and they'll make the shirt up without charging extra..I saw this in
one of their catalogs.
Oh BTW..I used to do a zine called Thoughtgun a year ago..but ran out of
people to distribute it, and the resources to keep making it. Basically it
was advocating philosophical thinking and new modes of understanding as a
progressive artform..so it had poems, stuff from the Tao, local spoken word
and jazz happenings, coffee bars, etc.
