read that Jam/bruce/rick bio real real kwik and have personally come to the
conclusion that there were three people in the Jam and that the interesting
one was called Paul Weller.
Anyone know a good place to get button badges, I'm after several kinda
designs, a buzzcocks one and a Who one in particular (I used to have a real
nice who one but I kinda lost it some time ago.
Kinda on the subject of trios, and top music, does anyone remember the 60ft
Dolls, they were from Newport, S.Wales and pretty tops and all, Kinda mod in
that they dressed real sharp and played music that had real
energy/passion/soul and that also maybe gave a passing nod to the jam.
also anyone come across the author Stewart Home?? He's written several
Richard Allen type books, only miles more sex and miles more violence,
they're pretty interesting esp. if you're into subcultures. He's also
written a kinda first class account of Punk called Cranked Up Really High,
which kinda eschews the more masturbatory quasi academic outpourings you
usually get.
