Well last night I thought I'd pop down the Jazz Caff to see "Ian McLagan &
the bump band,
and i walk away in a 3 hour daze to watch Mac do a blinding gig.
ending with "all or nothing" on the first encore then "wotcha gonna do about
it"
ronnie wood was upstairs, having a right laugh. someone from ride/oasis &
ocean colour scene were apparently there too. (andy bell)
I got a few photos, standing with Mac and P.Weller. Made my night
(fan-fucking-tastic)
Mac read three chapters from his book. Excellent. All about how madeup he
was when he had his first Hammond B3 on loan for 2
weeks, and the 1st song he ever played at home was "Green Onions."
The music was a bit mixed, mostly fast stuff. A bit seventies, which suited
the Lordy Lord ''Rod Stewart'' geezers.
He did a Q&A session, at one point someone asked him about Mod clothes, and
he said,
"Vey dahnt make 'em , in me size anymore"
