The Bajaj Cheetak is (I'm told) made using the tooling that made the Vespa
Sprint (hence they look very much alike) - but after a conversation I once
had with Midland Scooter Centre, I was told that after obtaining the tooling
from Piagio, Bajaj never paid for it. The MSC bloke was very anti-Bajaj,
saying that they were inferior.
The tyres on them ARE not good either.
