I was talked into test driving one about a year ago by my local scooter
shop. I was very sceptical about the whole plastic rocket thing but I had a
go anyway. I hate to say this but it was one of the best rides I've had
tut tut! ) not a patch on the classics physically but as far as scooter
handling goes it was superb. The brakes stopped you when you wanted to stop
and it took corners so well that I was afraid I was going to scratch the
moulded side panels. The lights are nothing like the candles on my scooters
and if you can get used to not having any gears it's easy to drive. For a
125 it went like a rocket but I didn't get a chance to really open it up. If
you like the styling of it I say test drive one and find out for yourself
before you disregard it but if you're an old codger like me (28) stick to
beauty before performance.
