God I love quizzes...

America got to be strong by taking the best of all the world's cultures and
blending them into one "melting pot". Sure we were influenced by Britain, but
also by people from the European mainland and the people and cultures of five
other continents. If America's overriding influence were British, it would be
impossible to find a decent meal in this country and we'd be overrun with
chip stands.

Thank god American education is better than British education:
- The largest countries in the world are:
  (by area) 1. Russia, 2. Canada, 3. USA, 4. China, 5. Brazil.
  (by population) 1. China, 2. India, 3. USA, 4. Indonesia, 5. Brazil.
- The very first computer was the abacus, invented by some ancient Chinaman
(nope not British). The first computer was the ENIAC 1, invented by in 1946
John Mauchly and John Eckert who were working for the United States Army
(nope not the British Army). The first personal computer was the Altair
8800 invented in 1974 by Californian (nope not Londoner) Ed Roberts.
- That Scotsman, Alexander Graham Bell had the common sense to leave your
stifling little island and made his way to America where he not only
patented the telephone, but started one of the largest companies in the
  world (AT&T).
- The internet was started in 1969 by the U.S. military and was know as the
ARPAnet. The HTTP protocol which is the basis of the web was created at the
Swiss CERN labratory in 1993. HTTP was made usable by an American, Netscape
  founder Marc Andreesen in 1994.
- America finally joined World War II when our country was actually attacked
by Japan (remember Pearl Harbor). Of course America didn't save Britain
from the Nazis (the Hitler was too incompetent to actually take your
island), but we did save the French, the Dutch, and the Germans themselves.
- The Marshall Plan was a US$13.3bn *GIFT* to Europe, it was not a loan. But
John, it was your grandparents' and great-grandparents' taxes that rebuilt
London and the rest of Europe.
- Taxes do not build cities, they maintain them.
- London is a fine place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there. America
has many far better cities with far better opportunities than London. If
London were so great, America's best and brightest would emigrate there.
Instead America's best and brightest stay here, Britain's best and
brightest immigrate here, and our dimwits emigrate to London.
- And on average, Americans work more hours per week than Britons. So we all
can't be lazy bloodsucking shits like the French. What was your point?
- What fat bastard ate all the good pie shops?
- Thank god for curry! You need something edible to eat on your lil' island.

BTW ;^)

Enjoy,
John M. Stafford
