as far as i know, 'i'm a man' has been credited to many people, mostly
because it was never orginally copyrighted (copywrit? copy written?) but
most people asscociate it with muddy waters (if this is the same track we're
on about)..... similar story with tracks like 'wade in the water', 'hey joe'
and 'house of the rising sun', where they're often credited (i.e.) 'trad.
arr. alan brown' and how led zeppelin got away with copping all the
royalties for 'whole lotta love' which originated from muddy water's 'you
need loving'. they probably bought another limo while muddy waters was in
all probability on the bones of his arse. twats.
