There is a good fashion book called "Rock and Roll
Fashion" that I looked at the other day, and It's very
very interesting...
It pretty much chronicles the style evolution of
rockstars, with really pretty picture layouts.
Lots of picturs of the Small Faces, Who, Supreames..
Shows how women did their make-up in the 60's... shows
pictures of Lord Kitchners Valet store.. em, lots of
Quant references and such.... A lot of Mod fashion
in this book, but it also touches on other looks like
Duran Duran, Elvis, and all that sort...
And i learned that Slade had once looked the parts of
mods... haha. "Come on Feel The Noize"...oh dear.
Anyway, saw it at Tower records...
look at it, its interesting.
