Well obviously if I knew the DJs were particularly good I would be
'struck' - otherwise I wouldn't (as I wasn't)
Fact is I've no idea who DJs well and who doesn't - I haven't met any of
the 'serious' DJs I'm afraid (apart from Rob Bailey, and Beat Basement
Scott and Jack) - so I don't know who's who. Fact is I go out to clubs
(like the 'trap) without even READING the line-up - I don't usually care
that much........

What?! I KNOW I've never said I didn't go in the Beat Basement - it was
YOU who said that if my memory don't fail me. I usually PREFER it -
apart from when it gets psyche..... though of course I enjoy a fair
amount of the music upstairs too.

Well.... I don't know!
I'd have thought YOU didn't based on the fact you always seem to talk
about dancing to soul.
Most people I meet really seem to prefer one or the other - it's dead
crazy that. I know 'beat mods' and 'soul mods' - it's crazy!!!
Fortunatley some of us are more all-encompassing huh?

Well to some extent..... but really it's about being 'understated'.
Faces don't need to show off cos they're so cool.....
The best dancers just dance - with none of that stupid attitude.
They look fucking good and cool - cos they ARE - but they dont get all
uppity and stuff - they dont treat it all like a competition cos they
dont need to - they're secure enough in themselves.
I hate the people who turn a dancefloor into a battlefield - everyone
should respect each other.
