It's just that, over here in the UK, we get BeatlesBeatlesBeatles everytime
there's a 60's programme on the TV/radio.
Knowing just how much good music was around(re- The Action, who WERE
criminally underlooked!), it's frustrating.
"Taxman"? wasn't there a garage-punk track that came out about six months
previous to the Beatles track, with the same bassline etc...
Weller nicked the idea BUT at least he admits it!
The Beatles weren't even that credible in the 60's, they were more of a
Blur/Oasis - and not exactly cutting edge.
