Just a quick message to thank the Modslisters who made
the trek to Toronto for the 5th anniversary of
Blow-Up... it was a sterling event all the way...
setting attendance records as well as fun records...
Barry James (Wigan Casino Original... now living in
Detroit Michigan) played a stellar set and helped out
in ways that most people wouldn't help... thanks
Barry... or thanks Dad... haha!
The Soul Clan were stellar of course and they were the
nicest group of DJ's that have ever graced the decks
at Blow-Up... those cats have the greatest taste and
the best attitude I've ever seen amongst the DJ set...
they are a wee bit older than most "mod-esque" DJ's
but fuck does that ever add something new to the
mix... experience and knowledge... I urge you all to

The Soul Clan will undoubtedly be featured at our
annual NYE party... along with Barry James of course
who has already committed for the event...
AS well as the DJ's and clubbers I must also thank all
the great bands who played as well... The Sound Of
Circles (recently played with the Embrooks) who were
very Stairs, Standells, Watchband... check them out..
Cobrajet (very Ginger baker-baker trout farm)
hahaha... a little later 60's if you dig... Stars from
NYC who are signed to the label Grand Magistry with
Momus and Kahimi Kari (sic?) they made the whole night
complete...
In all and to finish a long post... it was great and I
am honoured to have had such a bill for the 5th
anniversary of Blow-Up... it was a major thrill...
thanks to all who attended including the San Diego
gals... hahaha... and all the Yanks that made the
trek... it just goes to show that not everyone on this
list listens to or pays any attention to what Dan
Geddes and his staff of Modrobots has to say about me
or my club...
