They probably do skip those pages.  But you know, I have a copy of 
"Quant by Quant"
out of historical curiousity....that doesn't mean it pops up in 
conversation much.
Nor do the women's fashion articles in my copies of "Rave".  The point 
was not to
"silence" you, as you put it, but to respond to your question as to why 
men aren't
interested in mailing list discussions of women's hair-dos and make up.  
It seems rather
obvious to me.  I'm not telling you to not bring it up, just don't be 
surprised by a lack
of interest.
