There was a good reason why Bond wore nylon pants. Often, he would find
himself in bed asleep and one of Blofeld's henchmen would jump through the
window and try to kill him. Bond slept with a gun under his pillow, which is
very safety-conscious of him - but the nylon pants meant that when the
baddie appeared, he would make a sudden movement in the bed and the
flourescent sparks resulting from nylon pants moving quickly over nylon
sheets would create enough light by which Bond could see his enemy and
shoot.
Or something....
By the way, my message 'this night is for the people' quite obviously was
meant to be sent offlist to Ralph, and wasn't meant to be sent to the
Modslist and only appeared because i had made a mistake! someone had
blundered.... I blame Hotmail, meself....
