To follow on from what Tom and Helen were saying . . . Tom, I can see your point to an extent - the whole 'Music To Watch Girls By'/Andy Williams neo-Swinging retro thing doesn't have much connection as a culture to mod (or rather to the authentic mod - I think you'd have to accept it's a PART of it today as much as 70s revival, Northern, and the psyche/garage thing have also affected today's scene), but there IS still stuff of direct musical relevance, simply because of the musicians involved, unless you think it's the label that counts.
