Yes I do think it is part of todays scene - I didn't mean to imply it
wasn't.
I probably shouldn't have said I think it has "fuck all" to do with mod
- I was just making the point that because not all of us like certain
types of music doesn't mean they don't have a following within the mod
scene - whether that be new wave or easy listening.
I should have said that in the same way easy wasn't my personal thing,
that doesn't make it non-mod, so some of us not liking SP Commando's
choice in music doesn't make it non-mod either.
I admit to being a bit ignorant of "easy" though and there is probably
something in it I would like. To be honest the stuff I listen to is
probably closer to easy than new wave as I tend to play a lot of jazz at
the moment. If anyone felt I was attacking easy - and I can see how you
might have from what I wrote - I apologise.
