***Art is one of the MOST labeled and compartmentalized of all the 
"creative" fields.
I went to art school and certainly spent enough time studying art 
history, as well as
"creating".....I would recommend reading reading Tom Wolfe's "The 
Painted Word"
to cut through the complete pretentious trendy crapola at the heart of 
of it all...
