I agree, essentially.  I guess it is a form and like any form requires 
innovation on top of it for life, vivacity.  Like some shit, Elephant 6 
recording collective for example (the Essex Green, Minders, Apples in 
Stereo), that delves into the past which doesn't sound offensive, but 
somehow lacks the proper understanding of that form... I guess it comes down 
to how does one feel about the Nazz and their version of British Invasion, 
Philadelphia style.  True understanding leads to true innovation... perhaps 
for me the good shit from the 60's always denotes possibilities with an 
ambivilent relationship to the past � a tenuous position to say the least.  
Oh well.
