I used to spend so much money on hair products but then came to the
realization that I really didn't need any if I had the right cut. Although,
my hair is naturally straight. I had short, slightly bouffanted hair. I used
Big Sexy Hairspray and different Sebastian products etc. But then I saw a
hair cut that inspired me in Wallpaper - a short kind-of "bowl cut" with
asymmetrical bangs. My hairdresser had a blast doing it because he found it
challenging and pays great attention to detail and the blending of the line
that follows around the bangs into the body of the hair. It takes me 5
minutes to style my hair now, as opposed to before when it took me around 15
minutes.
I'm also thinking about letting my hair grow super long...with bangs just
hitting the top of my eyebows..kind of late '60s style. We'll see.
As far as hair color goes, I used to be platinum blonde and then red but
the past couple years I have let it go back to my natural color blonde. I
like my color because I'm not just another girl with a black bob and it's so
much healthier when not dyed. No offense, girls, it's a great look (the black
bob) but it's fun to stand apart from the crowd.
