Is this a joke? You can't possibly be bitching about how far away Club
Au-Go-Go is, right? What's funny is that Pasadena is closer to Pomona
than Hollywood if you look on a map! Here are your options in LA since
you obviously have a drinking issue about driving more than 20 minutes
after going to a cool club ONCE A MONTH...
1. A soul club - hear the same type of music ALL night long
2. Underground - Eric is a cool guy but Underground is on a Friday
night! However, if you're into Blur and inept bartenders go for it
3. Some shitty indie bands at the same old haunts - Spaceland, etc.
4. Visit a group session at complainers anonymous.

Okay, you know what... I don't live in Pasadena. I live in Koreatown and it
takes me 10 minutes to get to Underground. I wasn't referring to going to
Underground instead of Club Au Go Go being that Club Au Go Go is on Sat.
nights...rather Terry's club that is on the same night and in Upland which is
far especially when I work full time and during the weekends which is really
none of your business. And how can you say that there is anything wrong with
going to a soul club and that you would hear "the same songs all night long"
and that this would be different from if you went to a MOD club with au go go
in the title? Truly, I want to go to a club that plays all obscure psyche and
garage but it doesn't exist here. It's pretty typical that the music that you
hear when you go out is going to be stuff that you could have stayed home and
listened to by cd or record.
