Hi I have both mod_ssl and mod_roaming (for Netscape Roaming profiles) installed. Both work fine. I'm now trying to make Netscape4.5 use an SSL connection for fetching and storing its profiles. However, if I enter https: in the URL instead of http: netscape starts to look for a server named https. and not finding it, it starts to look for www.https. If I I enter the port number 443 instead, it tries to connect but the SSL handshake fails because Netscape doesn't attempt to use SSL. I guess my question is: has anyone made Netscape use SSL for roaming profiles access?
