Well, since no-one sems to know what is going to happen to the
two versions (one dies / both lives / they re-join)
I'd like to be certain that I won�t have any
problems either way...

I guess one should have a look at some non-SSL version and do the same
thing, sort of a SSL-enabled drop-in replacement...
