Then this means the order is not important, because the other poster has it
the other way and gets core dumps, too. I'll try it out with mod_perl and
investigate. Can you give my a backtrace of the core dump ("bt" in gdb for
instance), so I can see where it dumped for you?

Interesting is also that it seems that it's only occuring in combination with
mod_perl. Hmmm... how do you build mod_perl?  As a DSO or statically?
