What exactly do you mean by a free cert server? Some kind of free CA
management software for Linux? No, I don't know of any good free CA management
packages. Or do you mean just programs to generate your own certs? SSLeay
comes with all those stuff, although it's not always easiy to use. The
simplest way to generate your free/own certificate for Apache is to use
mod_ssl's `make certificate' procedure.
