Don't know with this information. We need a little bit more information where
it segfaults. Perhaps you can compile with "-g -ggdb3" and provide us with a
backtrace (run "gdb" on the core file and send us the output of "bt").
BTW, this is an Intel-box with Debian, right? When it's not an iX86-based
platform make sure you have built SSLeay the _correct_ way, i.e. using a
platform identifier instead of "gcc". Please read the INSTALL file carefully
and follow it's steps (the 15-min install steps on the website are just of
illustration type, for some platforms you have to do a little bit more).
