As a member of the Apache Group core team I have to give a statement here for
the group concerning this product:

| now available in stores, is "The Complete RedHat Linux 5.2 Operating
| System Deluxe Secure Server Edition." It includes Red Hat Linux 5.2 along
| with Apache-US-SSL, which uses mod-ssl for its SSL compatibility.
|
| It also comes with 90 days of e-mail installation support for
| both Apache-US-SSL and Red Hat Linux.
|
| It is available at CompUSA, Computer City, Babbages, and other computer
| stores and retails for $99.95.
|
| If you have any questions, check http://ssl.hockey.net for more details.

While it's perfectly ok to use Apache and mod_ssl as ingredients for your
product you should be aware that the use of the name "Apache-US-SSL" violates
the Apache license (except from the LICENSE file of Apache 1.3):

 * 5. Products derived from this software may not be called "Apache"
 * nor may "Apache" appear in their names without prior written
 * permission of the Apache Group.

As you can see you need explicit written permission by the Apache Group to be
allowed to use the name "Apache". And the Apache Group as a whole decided to
not allow you to represent your product with this name (as they didn't allowed
C2Net to use "Apache-SSL U.S." in the past - it was changed to "Stronghold").
So please change the name "Apache-US-SSL" immediately. For details please
contact the Apache Group ([EMAIL PROTECTED]).

Greetings,
