Just installed mod_ssl (thanks!)
But can't get I.E. 3.02 to work ...
Server: Apache/1.3.3 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.1.5 SSLeay/0.9.0b
I.E. 3.02(4.70.1310) 128-bit version.
Followed the Step-by-Step, on FreeBSD 2.2.8 ...
Works fine with I.E. 4.01, Netscape 4.5 ...
But I.E. 3.02 says:
I.E Cannot Open the Internet site https://...
The Operation completed successfully.
(great message, eh ;-)
All security checks are off in I.E. 3.02 .

On the server I tried: s_server -debug
From the client side : https://host.foo.com:4433
IE3 shows this:
CIPHER is RC4-MD5
read from 0009F440 [000C6000] (5 bytes => 0 (0x0))
ERROR
shutting down SSL
CONNECTION CLOSED
IE4 continues successfully.
What to do ? What's broken here ? How can I get more detail ?
Anyone using IE 3.02 with success ?
