I have configured mod_ssl 2.1.6 with SSLeay 0.9.0b and mod_perl 1.17.
Out of the box I run the server, non SSL transfer work fine. With
SSL transfers the following error message appears in ssl_engine_log:
[11/Jan/1999 00:32:43] [error] SSL handshake failed (SSLeay library error
follows)
[11/Jan/1999 00:32:43] [error] SSLeay: error:14094410:SSL
routines:SSL3_READ_BYTES:sslv3 alert handshake failure
Before the initial SSL transfer it does ask me if I want to allow the
sample certificate, and the cert contains all of the information it is
suppose to.
I currently don't have any mod_perl sections in my configuration. My
configuration is pretty much the out of box apache configuration.
