the subject says it for the most part.

Apache+mod_ssl just won't do shit unless the main server has SSL enabled on it.


oh, and i've tested this on a Sparcstation/2 under my desk, and a Linux 2.0.36
box.

if i just put the
SSLEnable
SSLEngine on
(etc)

in the main server config, it works fine.

a minor issue, but i'd like to know what causes this.
