Hello,
I just installed Apache+ssl using OpenSSL and, of course, mod-ssl.
I'm using a certificate from VeriSign. I can fire up the server. There
are no error messages from simply starting it. In fact, it will even
serve pages off of the non-ssl part of the server. However, when I try
and hit anything secured, the browser just hangs. If I wait for the
browser to error out, I do receive two messages in my error_log:
[Tue Jun 8 17:03:47 1999] [notice] Apache/1.3.6 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.3.1 OpenSSL/0.9.3a
configured -- resuming normal operations
[Tue Jun 8 17:03:58 1999] [error] mod_ssl: Unable to configure server RSA private key
for connection (OpenSSL library error follows)
[Tue Jun 8 17:03:58 1999] [error] OpenSSL: error:0B080074:x509 certificate
routines:X509_check_private_key:key values mismatch
Any ideas? Did I do something, or *not* do something to my key or cert
files? I'm not sure where to go from here.
My apologies in advance for the cross-post to openssl-users, but since
those last two lines are all the information I'm able to get, it seems
necessary. Also, thanks in advance for any assistance!
Regards,
Ryan Gray
