Hi!

I will try to be more specific about my questions by describing my enviroment.

In my testenviroment I have two identical installations except that I use mod-ssl-2.3.3 and mod-ssl-2.3.1 on different machines. Both are installed on Wondows NT and I dont use SSLSessionCache. When I use a client software to connect to the server I could see that the response time is about 7 times longer on the latest version ?  How come ? I have also compared the two versions of modssl on unix platform with the same result. What is the difference in the negotiation in the two versions ?

I suppose that the program tries to negotiate the longest encryptionkeylength possible, which could take some time. Is it possible to configure this in some way ? Is it any difference in which keylength it starts to negotiate in the two different versions ?

Is it any other ways to optimize the negotiation through f.e. httpd.conf ?

/Best Regards,
