Hi all,

This is driving me mad. I hope there is someone who is kind
enough to give me some clues.

I compiled Apache 1.3.6, mod_ssl 2.3.11, OpenSSL 0.93a on a
Solaris x86 2.6 box. But every time I tried to connect to HTTPS
port, I got disconnected. The error entries in error_log and
access_log is :

[Tue Aug 10 13:15:48 1999] [error] [client 203.67.11.65] Invalid method in reque
st <80>k^A^C^A

and

203.67.11.65 - - [10/Aug/1999:13:15:48 +0800] "<80>k^A^C^A" 501 -

respectively.

I followed the debug procedure in FAQ to use openssl to connect,
and got the following result :

OpenSSL> s_client -connect chi.e-top.com.tw:443 -state -debug

I had some experience with Apache/SSL+SSLeay one year ago, but this never
had happened to me before. I suspect it's Solaris x86 2.6's fault.

I had disabled the ASM code in OpenSSL and removed -O3 when comping OpenSSL.
make test looked pretty normal to me (all passed). So I don't know what's
going on there. I hope someone kind enough to tell me what I can do. I am
going nuts.

Thanks for your attention.
