Scott I am pretty sure that the answer is "yes". The certificate request
is not generated by Apache-SSL or mod_ssl, but by ssleay (or OpenSSL),
which is used by both Apache-SSL and mod_ssl to provide the "SSL" part.
Thawte offer mod_ssl and Apache-SSL as alternatives in the certificate
request process but the resulting certificate is I am sure the same.
