You need to enable the EAPI rule by adding

--enable-rule=EAPI

to your ./configure statement when configuring Apache. Then recompile.

Hi, I have a problem with the installation of modssl for
apache.
I think I was forget something in the configure stage, but
I dont know what.
When I try to start apache with ssl, it tell me ....

Syntax error on line 274 of
/usr/local/apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/local/apache/libexec/libssl.so into
server: /usr/local/apache/libexec/libssl.so: undefined
symbol: ap_global_ctx
/usr/local/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd could not be
started

... without asking me for the PassPhrase, It print juste
that...
The 274th line in the httpd.conf is simply my LoadModule
which it probably need a different apache.

LoadModule ssl_module libexec/libssl.so

Then, the following line is the configure for apache...

SSL_BASE=../openssl-$OPENSSL_VERSION \
./configure --enable-module=ssl --prefix=$PREFIX \
--enable-shared=ssl --enable-suexec \
--suexec-safepath="/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin" \
--activate-module=src/modules/php3/libphp3.a \
--enable-shared=php3

If anyone can help me, It should be very cool !
I really need your help !
thanks a lot !
