Actually, you have good documentation here, however, please submit the
EXACT typed in instructions that you did, not just a copy and paste from
the install file.  Include also a directory tree for the subdirectories
affected.

Are you using some or all of the OPTIONAL stuff?

the -fPIC could screw you up, if you didnt put the PIC in capitals.

Other than that, I just did the exact same compile with no trouble at all.
Seems like a great installation this time.

What you may also want to do is, save the output of all your make compiles
for the modules and Apache.  Pipe them out ">>install.log &" to a
install.log file and then send that along to me.  I bet there is some
problems somewhere in the make files.
