Let me guess: You're building mod_ldap _outside_ the Apache source tree with
DSO facility, right? Then I guess you're not building with EAPI (watch for
-DEAPI). This way the internal structures in Apache cause the problems.
Make sure you build mod_ldap _after_ Apache and mod_ssl were built and
installed if you're using DSO.
