Fellow Users:

I recently installed the openssl-0.9.4-2.i386.rpm on a i386 RH6 box.
When I try to run some of the openssl commands, I get an error stating
that it cannot load the config info. More specifically:

[clubine@streamline ~]$ openssl req -new -key mtc.key -out mtc.csr
Using configuration from /var/ssl//etc/openssl.cnf
Unable to load config info
Enter PEM pass phrase:
unable to find 'distinguished_name' in config
problems making Certificate Request

>From what I have been able to determine from the documentation, the
location of this file was specified when this package was compiled, so
perhaps it is a problem with the rpm itself?

The file exists at /etc/openssl.cnf and all of the other ssl files are
in /var/ssl .

Please advise. Thanks!
