Sure, if you want to be 100% sure you can turn it off. But keep in mind that
this slows down the request processing, of course. Because without keep-alive
connections more separate connections have to be opened. So at least then
make sure that your SSL session cache works correctly and fast (I recommend
you to use the shared memory based variant).
