I looked at the STATUS that Ken published today, and - surprise! -
the EAPI patches of mod_ssl are back there!

Except for one "-1" which is not relevant anymore (because we passed
1.3.7 a long time ago), all the other opinions are "+1". Is there
anything we missed?

BTW: "I am not a lawyer", but since there are other uses for EAPI in
addition to mod_ssl, it is not a crypto patch anymore, and there is
no law against inserting it into the main source tree. In addition,
there is a (small) chance that on December 15 the American government
will relax its limitations on crypto in Open Source Software, so even
mod_ssl+OpenSSL have the option to enter the open world. Well, the
last thing (December 15) is more a wishful thinking, but I hope that
at least the chance of EAPI to become standard on Apache 1.3.10, is
more realistic...
