I'm running Apache-1.3.9+Mod_ssl-2.4.9 on a RedHat 6.0 system. We've updated every single thing we can find, and I've recompiled everything from the source at least twice. I've installed binary versions from RPM. I've used CPAN on Bundle::Apache to get those latest components. mm-1.0.12 -- built with apache-mod_ssl, and seperately openssl-0.9.4 -- installed from RPM, and built seperately mod_ssl-2.4.9 (for apache-1/3/9) -- installed from RPM, built with apache via APACI, and also through apxs apache-1.3.9 -- installed via RPM, from RPM with mod_ssl, and rebuilt from source with mod_ssl And still I get "internal server error" when I try connecting to the secure server. The certificates are self-signed certs, and work fine. I get no errors about the certificates at all. I have the exact same configuration on another server I admin, and it runs without a hitch. However, reading through the ssl_engine_log (with SSLLogLevel set to debug) these lines appear every time there is an error: [08/Dec/1999 21:21:47 31006] [trace] OpenSSL: Handshake: done [08/Dec/1999 21:21:47 31006] [info] Connection: Client IP: 209.195.126.3, Protocol: SSLv3, Cipher: RC4-MD5 (128/128 bits) [08/Dec/1999 21:21:47 31006] [debug] OpenSSL: read 292/18437 bytes from BIO#0812B9A8 [mem: 0814D8E8] (BIO dump follows) No matter what the circumstance, OpenSSL can never read more than 300bytes of 18437bytes (that number is constant). Does anyone have any idea whatsoever as to what may be going on?
