I just wanted to add, that we (Ralf and me) discuss some patches
that may ease the installation under WIN32. I can't talk on behalf
of Ralf, so I can't promise you that 2.5.0 will include these
patches, but I estimate that there is a high chance that soon (not
the next version - 2.4.11, but the version after it - 2.5.0), the
things under Win32 may be easier and better. Now, the big question
is for you: Is it urgent for you (so you can't wait and must accept
one of the solutions Ralf suggested), or not (so you may wait and
maybe have a better/easier solution).

In any case, OpenSA attacks not only the issue of the difficulties
with SSL, but also other issues (like PHP, Perl, etc.), so if you
are interested in an all-in-one Apache solution for Windows, I
recommend it for you, no matter if you can wait or not. And the
planned patches don't compete with OpenSA in any way, but only help
them, and save them the need to deal with yet another problem in
addition to the zillion problems that they have to resolve. I think
that their project is great).

(And for the people that have REALLY a lot of patience, maybe other
issues will ease now, after the changes in the crypto policy of the
American Govt. In my opinion, today is a historic day for the Open
Source world).

P.S. Try to look at the contrib directory, I think that there is a
pre-built package for NT.
