Unfortunately I have a few more options to deal with. I am running
apache 1.3.9, rsa_ref, mod_perl-1.21, mod_ssl-2.4.9-1.3.9,
mod_php3-3.0.14 (with imap, mck, AND ORACLE support).
I did get everything working using apxs EXCEPT mod_perl. I can run
with mod_perl or mod_php, but I get a segmentation fault when I load
both. I may be able compile mod_perl monolithically, but I am not
expecting any better.
I shall be doing a fresh install again, to see if I can sort this stuff out.
I had clued into the new imap packages, and that fixed my compilation
problems but thanks for that anyhow.
An upgrade to a newer modssl and apache would not hurt here either.
