Fumbling newbie here...

I've managed to compile the following:

Apache 1.3.11
OpenSSL 0.9.4
ModSSL 2.5.0 (-1.3.11)
MM 1.0.12
RSARef 2.0
PHP 3.0.14

It even works with an http connection.

Alas, it dies with an https connection.

There are a whole slew of warnings such as:

Loaded DSO libexec/mod_env.so uses plain Apache 1.3 API,
this module might crash under EAPI!
(please recompile it with -DEAPI)

Now, as near as I can figure (mostly guesswork) my options are:

1. Drop the MM support at a loss of performance (how much?)
2. Try to do ./configure for all of these thingies again, only stick -DEAPI
at the end of each ./configure and pray that it works.
3. These warnings are ignorable and something else is horribly wrong... but
what?

Which of these options, or another you could suggest, is most likely to work?

The full list of plain API modules is:
mod_env.so
mod_log_config.so
mod_mime.so
mod_negotiation.so
mod_status.so
mod_include.so
mod_autoindex.so
mod_dir.so
mod_cgi.so
mod_asis.so
mod_imap.so
mod_actions.so
mod_userdir.so
mod_alias.so
mod_access.so
mod_auth.so
mod_setenvif.so
libphp3.so

Disclaimer: I don't have any idea what half those modules are, and have no
real clue what I'm doing...

THANKS!!!
