I, too, get the same error when doing a make certificate under Solaris 7
with all
the newest versions. I have a $HOME/.rnd which was created by cping a
bunch of stuff
to it. It gets encrypted but I still get the same

>STEP 7: Enrypting RSA private key of CA with a pass phrase for security [ca.key]

>make[1]: *** [certificate] Error 1

error that a log of us seem to be getting. This is getting very
frustrating. Are
there any solutions?
