Sorry for the number of messages on this. I _must_ be doing something
wrong, as I cannot believe that it takes one over 24hrs to get Apache, mm,
mod_ssl and mod_perl going.

I got the thing to compile, and there's a libperl.a file sitting in
src/modules/perl now.

From the Apache source root, running 'make install' gets everything
installed.... except mod_perl!

If I run:

        echo -e "GET / HTTP/1.0\n" | nc www 80 | grep Server

I get:

        Server: Apache/1.3.12 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.6.2 OpenSSL/0.9.5

No mention of mod_perl (But I saw the string that should have been there,
fly by during the build process). There's nothing perl related within
/usr/local/apache/ (my install target) either.

Freshening the apache src tree and rebuilding gives me no joy.

What am I missing?

Cheers!
Jon
