1 cert per domain unless you have a wildcard, then you can have unlimited
subdomains.
(1 domain, no matter how many boxes it actually sits on)

buy from someone like Verisign. Do you need 1 cert per Apache server,
one per domain/IP address, or one per host on the domain?
