I've been fooling around, off and on, for the last 3
weeks, trying to get apache to work with DSA keys.
I want to create a custom client [perl+SSLeay?] that
can connect to my webserver without having to pay
the RSA tax.

Finally, the clouds cleared and I realized that I
should search the list archives. I stumbled across
the following message:
List: apache-modssl
Subject: Re: Apache_mod_ssl server certificate

Currently you can only use RSA Private Keys with mod_ssl, so you've no choice.
Although in the near future support for DSA/DH cert/keys will be supported...

This was over a year ago, so I wonder if it is possible
now? If not, what kind of work is involved in making
this happen?
