That's quite an old version - Apache is up to 1.3.12 and mod_ssl is 2.6.3

Have you succesfully installed Jserv without mod_ssl?

Did you remember to configure mod_jserv with --enable-EAPI as is recommended
at http://java.apache.org/jserv/install/howto.unix_install.html?
