Ok - I'm new to mod_ssl, et.al., but I've been given the task of jumping
into this project head first.
Background: What I've done so far...
System: Win32(NT4 SrvcPack 6), Apache, Tomcat
I've read the docs...
I've installed, compiled, mod_ssl, OpenSSL, Perl, etc.
I've added LoadModule command to httpd.conf file in Apache
I've added all the necessary items to the Path.
I've done all this, and yet, Apache doesn't want to load the module. It
errors out giving me error 1067.
What else should Apache be doing? I suspect that I might need to create my
own Keys/Certs. and such, but the snake oil keys are there, shouldn't they
work for testing purposes? How do I get Apache to register the Keys/Certs.?
What command, if any do I put in the httpd.conf file for apache to read
this? Is this just a bone head simple mistake of mine?
All your help, suggestions, and comments about my stupidity will be read and
appreciated.
