Close, very close.  The only thing I see is with your second point, I
would say:

        - one name-based virtual host can run _with_ SSL per
          NameVirtualHost block.  You can have many of them on
          a server, each with its own IP address.  Each of the
          NameVirtualHost blocks can include one and only one
          <VirtualHost  xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:443>.
